First of all, could you
give us a short introduction about your band?
Cybercage has only one aim...to make some fuckin' noise
and to awake the souls of humanity with our music!
How did things get started?
Everything started during the infernal summer of 2006 in
a wild island called Sardegna thanks to the fuckin' idea
of three motherfuckers, Fabio Coradduzza (vocals),
Michele fresi (keyboards), Delio Soro (guitar).
Immediately started the search of the other members, so
joined the band Fabrizio Fele (bass guitar) and his
brother Alessandro (synth and programming), and Pietro
Ganadu (drums). Now Cybercage is complete and just two
words can describe it...TO EXPERIMENT with music and TO
CREATE always new sounds!
How would you describe your music?
Hahaha thats a good question... Our sound is a mix
between many metal genres and electronic music... anyway...
describe it the way you prefer!
What are your main influences?
We take inspiration from bands indsutrial metal, but
also EBM, like Rammstein, Pain, Deathstars, Dagoba,
Dope, Suicide Commando, Painbastard, etc...
As far as I know you don't have any releases out yet...
when can we expect a debut demo?
We are currently working on the full-lenght... there is
no release date planned yet.
What can we expect of that coming release?
Our first album will be a "container" of fury, chaos,
but also melodies that come directly from hearth and
soul, and thruth... awkward truth...
How do you usually create and compose your songs?
We write the songs all everybody in the "recording
studio" (Fabrizio and Alessandro Fele's home) with
instruments in the hand, ideas in the head and PC on!
Many good industrial bands come from Italy, but most
of them are complaining about the scene over there. What
are your experiences on this issue?
At the moment we have no experiences on the stage,
because we are still in preparation for the concerts,
but once on stage...prepare for a "shower of meteorites"!
What can we expect of your band in the (near) future?
What we want to do with our band is trying to make us
know and go forward as much as possible, also playing
outside Italy, and even improving our sound!
The interview ends here, thanks a lot for your time.
If you have any final words to add, please do it here.
In conclusion..."music is the only way of salvation, the
only source of truth...and we decided to go down this "route"!
Thanks so much Gerardo and thanks so much "Industrialized
Metal" for the interview!
