Could you provide us
some basic info about your band?
We are the ones dressed in black & green, with the guy
screaming as a fucker, through green neon lights, about
aliens, thrillers, killers, gore, apocalypse and other
unsafe things; we are hated by true metalheads 'cause we
are too electro, hated by narrow rivetheads 'cause (oh
myyyyy god!) we have metal guitars and hated by everyone
cause we suck *smiles* We come from the good old Italy
and we formed 3 years ago.
Why did you exactly pick this track to appear on the
compilation?
We picked "Abduction Starfleet" 'cause it's a T3C-lassic
song, and the latest song we officially released. And
this song is the right tune to set the world on fire.
How important is and has the internet been for your
band?
Very important! It's a good way to spread the music…sites
and communities like myspace, vampirefreaks (or some
message boards too) are one of the right ways to get
some attention. But I think we need other way to promote
our music like magazines and radio stations.
What are the views upon the local music industry in
your native country?
Honestly, I don't give a fuck about it.
And what about the rest of the world?
When we'll sign for a label I will tell you if I'm still
disgusted about the music industry. Probably yes.
How do you see the role of the record labels in the
music industry in about 10 years?
Everyone downloads albums, mp3s…labels will collapse…I
think the idea Trent Reznor had (if I remember correctly
he broke the deal with his label, self-producing and
distributing through the web the future NIN works) was
brilliant.
But, you know what I mean, it's a great idea if you are
'a Trent Reznor', not 'a Snuff Mazend'. He's famous and
universally acclaimed and he can keep alive his career
also if he's fighting against the majors, he can count
on millions of fans and stuff. I don't. But I can count
on alcohol. *laughs*
What are your opinions on the Industrialized Metal
Webzine?
It's a really cool 'zine, getting more and more
professional. You are always improving the site and the
quality of interviews and reviews, Gerardo. You and your
staff done a great work. And thank you for the
continuous support you gave to my band through the years!
Do you have some final words to add?
Enjoy our track and die by our alien claws!
