Italian band T3chn0ph0b1a is a rising star in the space
metal scene. They found a sound simular to The
Kovenant's Animatronic and bands like ...And Oceans,
Dope Stars Inc and Deathstars, although they are
definatly not a clone of one of those bands.
T3chn0ph0b1a have found an own, spacy style and, to be
honest, I like them better than Deathstars and Dope
Stars Inc. Their first release came out in 2004: their
first promo cd called Albedo Level 0%. Five tracks
including an intro.
After the one minute intro that sucks you into
cyberspace, the demo kicks off with Aliena Ferox [Format
Race]. Great keyboardrifs on this song! Guitars are
pretty well used on this track: not too much, not too
less. Vocal screams are great! Love the intro on this
song... I can dream away on it! F.I.A.T. [Finding
Improved Alien Technology] follows. I really like the
basslines on this track very much! Sampling is very
original, never heard something like this. Good song,
but the intro could be a little more powerfull. Wrapped
in Eternit has to be my personal best one on this
record. There is nothing left to correct on this one.
Wicked vocals, cool samples, good guitar... great song!
Somehow H.T.M.L. [Heavenly Territories Might Lie]
reminds me to the Kovenant's "The Birth Of Tragedy".
Great keyboard works mixed with wicked screams and
guitars makes this song complete. Good song again! In
the end, this seems like one of the most promising
promos in years!
