Artist: ORGY
Album: Candyass
Year: 1998

I got to know this band because of their "Blue Monday" cover, which really opened my eyes for this band. I managed to get hold of the Candyass record, which features this very same cover. Candyass was released in 1998, and KoRn vocalist Jonathan Davis is among the guests on it.

Oh well, what should I say about this record? This sounds really like Nine Inch Nails in a more modern jacket. Call it NIN-nowmetal or something. I wouldnt call this disgusting, but I dont really like it. Actually, the only cool song is Blue Monday. Orgy sounds like "we play and you jump on our drum rhytm"-music, while good industrial metal should sound powerful in my opinion. The vocalist tries to sound like Trend, but he isnt able to reach him. Bah, I have had enough of this record already! Another time "Blue Monday", and then lets play some good stuff like NIN.
